Welcome to the Texas Gaming Innovation Wiki Hub, a public knowledge base dedicated to documenting the fleets, stations, and history of real-world public safety departments across Texas.
Our goal is to create a reliable and centralized resource where anyone can explore how fire, police, and EMS agencies in Texas are organized — from the apparatus they operate, to the stations they run out of, to the history that shapes their service today.
Unlike traditional wikis, this hub is maintained in a controlled environment to ensure accuracy and consistency. This prevents outside edits from undoing work and allows for long-term stability of the information.
Fire Departments – Comprehensive listings of apparatus, stations, and organizational details for departments such as:
Fort Worth Fire Department
Dallas Fire Department
Austin Fire Department
Houston Fire Department
Police Departments – Growing coverage of law enforcement agencies starting with Fort Worth Police Department.
Fleets & Apparatus – Standardized tables and galleries documenting unit numbers, fleet IDs, vehicle models, and specifications.
Department Histories – Brief overviews of each agency’s background, milestones, and organizational changes.
Many public-facing wikis contain valuable information but are subject to constant edits, reverts, and advertising. The TGI Wiki Hub was created to provide:
Accuracy – Information curated with consistency and care.
Stability – Pages will not be reverted or cluttered with irrelevant edits.
Accessibility – A clean, public-facing site free from ads and distractions.
This hub will continue to grow with additional Texas departments, expanding coverage across fire, police, EMS, and mutual aid partnerships.
If you’re interested in seeing a specific department documented, stay tuned as we roll out updates.
